  This was my second time coming here and I finally got the birrieria tacos with the beef, cheese, onions and cilantro. My first visit was quite confusing, the cashier told me that the birrieria tacos only have the option to have beef as the meat choice. When I got them they didn't have the cheese. I was confused but they were still good.  During my second visit, I believe the owner or the manager was there and he was very nice and helped me order the birrieria tacos that I wanted. He told me there was 3 choices of meats for the birrierias: beef, lamb and goat. He served our food and was informative of the 3 sauces they gave us. I took about 10 minutes taking the right pictures of the tacos, and the owner was kind to offer to put the tacos back in the grille if they were cold. Overall, the owner/manager is super nice guy and so is the cashiers. I think communication is a little difficult with some language barriers. I recommend showing a picture of the birrieria tacos so you can get what you want.
  
  Other notes:
  1. The price for one birria taco with the cheese is $3.75!
  2. Parking was pretty easy. I actually parked in the parking lot across the street right next to Mercado Central. The parking lot is only for Mercado but I never had a problem.
  3. It would be nice if there was a self serve station for water. I feel like I am burden to keep going up to the employees for more water
  
  ***EDIT*** the cheese added into the tacos were new as of this week, so it would make sense why I didn't get any cheese during my first visit last week lol

  Been a while guys. On this episode of Hong's Honest Food Review we have taqueria y birriera las cuatro milpas.
  
  The place was pretty clean no roaches, lots of space. Menu was easy to follow and the cashier explained the choices on the menu clearly.
  
  They left you alone for the most part. What i didn't like was that they didn't provide water.
  
  The food:
  
  Tacos birria: The shell was crispy and you can tell they let the juice thr shells on the flat top. The meat is juicy but it's a lower cut of meat. It's like stew meat. The meat you'd find in a beef and potato soup or a bo kho. It's tender but lacked flavor.
  
  Green sauce, like a tomatillo sauce. Light, and refreshing.
  
  Red sauce, fire. Got a kick to it. Flavorful. Pretty good spicy sauce.
  
  The dip soup was bland. It had a richness to the body but lacked any flavor.  It was like a menudo broth w/o the tripe. I needed to add salt and i never usually do. Dipping the taco in the soup was a pretty good experience but I'll stick to my favorite tacos from All Taco Food Truck.

  This place was amazing. Service couldn't be friendlier. Food portions are good and so are prices.
  Somewhat easy street parking, there is a lot across the street too.
  The place is clean and the ambiance is nice, of course it is Mexican oriented theme. That makes it more authentic.  Nice to choose booths or table.
  The menu is extensive and I tried ceviche and tacos and both were amazing. The ceviche plate was pleasantly surprising.  Might be the best ceviche plate I have had in all of twin cities.
  Flavors were right on point.
  During  my visit seems AC gets short with all the windows and a really warm day outside, this should be a minor thing happening maybe 4 weeks in a whole year in Minneapolis.  
  As with many restaurants I prefer refillable soda station. Overall the place is perfect with flavors and value. I will be a regular for sure.

  I am about to try out the beef birria tacos but when I noticed on my receipt the prices from the menus were different. A fifty cent difference for each taco. That's insane! They already cost $2.25 each. Other than the outrageous s price change, the place looks very nice, neat, and clean. Staff is very friendly and upfront with a mistake made on the board.

  All the food, I've had, most recently quesadillas, is excellent. Horchata is yummy. We had an event catered, and their service was great.
